We packed up all three kids and drove a few miles down the road to pick out a few pumpkins. Within minutes of piling out of the car, the twins were crying, and Ledger was on the ground screaming due to a huge goose egg on his forehead, we’re still not sure how what happened. Once we paid for the pumpkins and were all back in the car, Pat and I just looked at each other, shook our heads, and then busted up laughing. Oh how our life has changed.
This was the only picture picking pumpkins due to all the chaos.
Once the five of us, along with our pumpkins were on the road, Pat and I decided to make a trip out to the cemetery. It was nice to get out of the house and spend some time as a family. We don’t know how long Ledger will be thrilled to visit the cemetery, so we’re taking full advantage of this stage.
We then attempted to carve the pumpkins, but due to total chaos, we only finished one. The other two sat on our front steps hallowed out, just not carved.
While Pat and Ledger worked on the pumpkins, I tried consoling these two.
Though it was way more work then it was probably worth, I’m glad we picked and carved a pumpkin. Ledger was thrilled with the end results.
