Throw your party hats on, and let’s go celebrate! Preferably with some Mexican food :) Yesterday, I officially entered into the second trimester, and am thrilled to leave the last 14 weeks behind.
The picture below perfectly describes my appetite as lately. I went from eating a few bites of cereal a day, to wanting to eat everything in sight…seriously, I’m starving.
(I discovered this awesome shirt on Pinterest, source: here)
I’m constantly being asked a couple of questions, so here goes:
1. Were you using any type of fertility drug?
No, we were just extremely blessed.
2. Why did you get another ultrasound at 12 weeks?
Twins are considered a high risk pregnancy, so they perform ultrasounds at least once a month, which means I’ll have one at every appointment for the next few months. That way they can record both babies heartbeats.
3. How do you tell the difference between Baby A and Baby B?
Baby A is the lowest of the two babies.
And a few weeks ago, I received this comment… it wasn’t a compliment.
“If I didn’t know you were having twins, I sure would now.” (While staring at my stomach)
I figure this is only the beginning of awesome comments.
Bring it all on!
